Nature of request
Ryston requests remedy for the trespass done to him by Spaldington who evicted his men from his houses and given them to others. He requests letters to Spaldington to restore the houses so that he may hold them for the customary rent as other people hold them, and he requests that the treasurer by instructed to provide him with a charter as others have, as he cannot go to obtain one. He states that Spaldington has received 28s. rent.
Nature of endorsement
He should have a writ to the treasurer of Berwick to enquire of this and do justice on what he finds.
