Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to c. 1324 on the basis of the guard dating. Although no evidence is provided to substantiate this, as the petition is clearly in the aftermath of the revolt of Thomas of Lancaster, and at a time when Henry of Lancaster was suing for his late brother's estate, 1324 is a reasonable assessment of the date.
