- The college requests a grant of the advowson of the church of St Sampson, York, and licence to appropriate it. They also request that they might be exempted from the provisions of a statute made at Westminster concerning the provision of a vicar in the church and for the payment of a sum to the parishioners annually because of the insubstantial value of the church, and because of the number of vicars.
