Note (Additional information about the record)
- The petition is dated to 1312-1332 on the basis of the Index of Ancient Petitions that identifies the dean as Robert Pickering, and giving the dates that he held the office as 1312-32 (p.339). It is not clear on what basis this identification was made. The petition is answered in French that suggests a date after 1322.
