Nature of request
The Wolseleys request a writ to the escheator of Newcastle to enquire of the matter of the property that Maud's father granted to Dulfenby for 40s. per annum with right of re-entry if the rent falls into arrears for more than a quarter of a year since they have escheated into the king's hand by Dulfenby's forfeiture. They request that the inquisition be returned into Chancery, and that they can have a writ to the escheator to deliver the same to them.
