Nature of request
The petitioners request that law and justice be done to them as a tenement and land in Denbigh and Wicwer that descended to Mary Waleys by the death of her father were taken into the hand of the earl of Lincoln because Codnor, the late husband of Mary Waleys rendered Denbigh to the Welsh in the last war.
Nature of endorsement
Let it be ordered to the keeper of the castle of Denbigh that when he has heard her complaint, let justice be done according to the laws and usages of the country.
