Weston requests remedy concerning lands that his father bought in Simprin and elsewhere from Graham and Baddeby and of which he was ousted in the war with Bruce as they are now in the king's hand.1)
Nature of endorsement
Concerning the lands in Simprin and elsewhere, Weston was ousted by the war whereafter it was occupied by various tenants and then was forfeited to the king. Thomas de Weston is son and heir of John de Weston.2) He should have a writ to the sheriff of Berwick to deliver it to the petitioner to hold it as he held it before.
