Description

Addressees

Occupation
merchant of London
Nature of request
Wydeslade requests a writ commanding the levying of the sum adjudged to him in the last parliament at Westminster against the merchants of Germany on their goods wherever they can be found in the realm, as goods seized for this purpose at Boston were delivered back to the merchants by their deceit and bribery.1)
Nature of endorsement
The petition is ordered into Chancery, and there the process made earlier in parliament is to be viewed as well as the process after this in Chancery, and let justice be done.2) Afterwards Wydeslade came into Chancery and requested execution of the arrest and he was told to sue writs against the merchants if he considers it expedient that they be in Chancery at the octave of Holy Trinity to what they have for them, or to say why the execution against them should not be executed.

Note
