Reginald Warre and William Hardyng, and other men of John de Bure, Hawise his wife, and John atte Seler of the manor of Norton Ferris.

Nature of request
The petitioners state that they came with their soke to Windsor to complain that John de Bure, Hawise his wife, and John atte Seler were distraining them to perform other customs and services than they should, or were accustomed to, and they had a writ of the King to John, Hawise and John, to cease this. But they did not, so they complained again, and again they were told to stop, but only inflicted worse oppressions on them. Finally they obtained a writ of attachment, returnable in King's Bench at the octave of Michaelmas last, but when they knew of this, John, Hawise and John, they seized their livestock and chattels so that they cannot cultivate their lands or sue their plea. They request a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
They are to sue in King's Bench, where their plea is pending, and there they will have a writ to the aforesaid John, Hawise and John to cease from all such distraints during the plea.
