[This petition is damaged] John la Warre and Joan his wife state that they are involved in a suit against the King concerning the church of Wigtoft, but that those who are suing for the King are delaying the plea, to their disinheritance. They ask the King to order the justices to do right in the matter.

The justices before whom the plea was held on this matter are to be ordered to proceed, and to do what is rightly to be done, with all due speed according to the law etc.
