[This petition is damaged.]Miles de Wyndesore states that he holds the manor of Stanwell in Middlesex by descent, and also the office of Constable of Windsor castle, which pertains to that manor; and that after the death of Richard, his grandfather, the King took the manor and office into his hand because of the minority of Thomas, his brother. Thomas died under age, and because Miles was also a minor, the King kept the manor and office in his hand and granted the wardship of them to Elmyn Legat. Miles has now proved his age, and asks that he might have this [manor and] office.
