Nature of request
Joan, widow of Richard de Wyrhal, citizen of London, states that she claimed her dower from certain tenements in London formerly belonging to her husband, against one Reginald de Thunderle, but that her suit has been delayed because he says requests a judgment as to whether he ought to answer without the King, as the tenements at one time belonged to Edmund, Earl of Cornwall, who enfeoffed him with them, and then came into the King's hand as Edmund's heir. She requests a remedy.

Coram rege.She is to have a writ of Chancery to the Mayor and Sheriffs of London to proceed, notwithstanding etc. as is contained in the petition.The charter of Edmund, Earl of Cornwall, whose heir the King is.
