John de Wysete, parson of the church of Southrepps, states that he was presented by the present Earl of Surrey and duly instituted, but that because William de Cusaunce wrongly gave the King to understand that it was vacant, the King presented Peter de Cusaunce, William's brother. He requests a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
Nothing for this petition by the council, because it is attested that the King recovered the presentation of the same church against John, Earl Warenne, by judgment.
