Robert de Wincestre states that Thomas, Earl of Lancaster, gave and granted him various lands and tenements in Stamford in Northumberland, which have been taken into the King's hand because of the Earl's forfeiture. He requests justice.
Nature of endorsement
Coram domino rege.He is to show his charters and muniments in Chancery, and justices are further to be appointed to inquire into the truth of the contents of the petition; and the inquisition is to be returned and justice is further to be done.
