Nature of request
Richard Wade, Keeper of the bags for the rolls of Chancery, asks the King, for the service he did him in Wales and Scotland, to pardon him, in whole or in part, twenty-two and a half marks which he owes at the Exchequer for the issues of the lands of Geoffrey de Fresshelay, a Scot, from the time when he was an enemy of the King, which lands afterwards came into Richard's hand.
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege.The King grants him twelve and a half marks, provided he pays the remainder at the Exchequer at the terms which have been granted.
