Note (Additional information about the record)
- Dated on the guard to '? c. 1432', but also dated tentatively to 1422. There do seem to be a spate of these petitions in the early years of Henry VI: SC 8/85/4224, SC 8/85/4227, SC 8/85/4230 and SC 8/85/4242 are other examples. Whatever its date, this petition seems to be contemporary with SC 8/86/4269, and presented ten years before SC 8/150/7492: perhaps the best estimate would be to date this petition to c. 1422-c. 1430 and SC 8/150/7492 to c. 1432-c. 1440.
