Nature of request
Stephen Wydeslade states that he made a release to John Payn, armourer of London, on certain conditions, concerning the manor of Frome Braunche in Somerset, and delivered it to Alice Perrers, and that John died before he had fulfilled the conditions. Stephen states that he had often since demanded the delivery of the release from Alice, but that she refused, and is withholding it maliciously - as he is ready to prove by all reasonable means. He requests a remedy.
