William de Wyndesore states that his servant, Robert de Eure, was arrested by the King's ministers at Rochester with 5000 marks worth of gold and jewels belonging to William - as he is prepared to prove in any way the King and council wish - and seized the gold and jewels. He asks that they might be released.
