Nature of request
Nicholas Warde states that he held the office of Crier in King's Bench during good behaviour by the charter of Edward II, but that one Geoffrey de Saye of London has purchased the King's charter to hold this office for term of life: which charter has been in the hanaper in Chancery since the parliament, without Geoffrey suing to have it. Nicholas asks that, as he has done nothing to deserve losing the office, and as Geoffrey has not sued for it, he might have it back to hold as before.
