Nature of request
John le Wodeward, formerly chandler to the Earl of Hereford, states that although he left the Earl a quarter before he rebelled against the King, nevertheless his lands and tenements in Pertenhall near Kimbolton were taken into the King's hand, together with his other goods and chattels, leaving him with nothing. He asks the King and council to have pity on him and give him his lands and tenements back, as he was not an adherent of the Earl's at the time of his rebellion.

Coram domino rege.The King is to be informed of the reason for the seizure of the lands and chattels.
