Nature of request
William de Whytebi, spicer of York, requests a writ of Chancery to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer to pay him the debts owed him for various victuals bought from him in the time of the King's father, for which he has bills of the Wardrobe.
Nature of endorsement
The Treasurer, Barons and Chamberlains of the Exchequer are to be ordered that, when they have seen the bills mentioned by the petition, if they find that the debt is still clearly due, then they are to give him payment, an allowance or an assignment as soon as they properly can, receiving etc. charging etc.
