Nature of request
The executors of the testament of Robert de Harewedon state that in the King's father's twelfth year they lent 400 marks to Roger de Northburgh, Treasurer of the Wardrobe, for the King's benefit, and he gave them letters patent for their repayment at the following Michaelmas, but that they have not been paid. The request a writ to the Treasurer, Barons and Chamberlains of the Exchequer to pay them this sum or give them an assignment in a suitable place.
Nature of endorsement
The Treasurer, Barons and Chamberlains of the Exchequer are to be ordered that, when they have examined the letters mentioned by the petition, if they find that the debt is still due, they are to give them payment or assignment according to the form of the petition, receiving etc. and charging etc.
