Nature of request
Nandot de Villa Nova states that he and his father have served the King in his war all their lives, and that his father is in prison and disinherited because of the war. He asks the King, for the relief of his estate, to grant and confirm to him what John Penbruge had of the King's gift, the customs on earthenware pots in Bordeaux, and the lands and possessions which John had in Bordeaux and the surrounding area, which belonged to Amonyou de la Mate, rebel. He also asks that his father might be released from prison for the sum of 600 francs.
