Nature of request
John de Vuedale requests permission to give his manor of Bedingham in Norfolk, held of the convent of Our Lady of Walsingham, to that convent, to provide a secular priest to pray for the souls of the King, his father, and John there, and to feed twenty-five poor people on Good Friday and the five feasts of Our Lady.
Nature of endorsement
It pleases the King for him to have a writ to inquire whether it is to the harm, and if it is found by an inquisition to be returned on this that the contents of the petition can be done without harm to the King or anyone else, then the King's letters of permission are to be made, of the King's special grace.
