Robert Umfravyll, Bertram Monbochier, and Robert de Louther, state that a false fine was made in the Receipt concerning the manors of Halton, Clarewood, and Whittington by one Henry Copandale, clerk, with the assent of William Carnaby, for William's advantage, and to their disinheritance, and that it has been annulled and thrown out of court. They request punishment for Henry and William, and a remedy so that such things are not done in future.
