Nature of request
William Upton states that on the Friday after the feast of St Hilary in the King's second year Thomas West, Simon Webbs, William de Wandesworth, John Child and others entered his lands at Wimbledon, and carried off his goods and chattels with force and arms. He asks to be restored to his lands, or that his muniments and evidence for them might be seen before people learned in the law and others, and that he might have justice, or that such a remedy might be provided as to deter others in future.
Nature of endorsement
This bill is to be sent to Chancery, and there justice is to be done to the parties by advice of the Chancellor and Justices, as the law demands.
