Aymer Vigerii and Grimoard Vigerii, of Mauriac, sons and heirs of Grimoard Vigerii state that they have had all manner of jurisdiction in the towns and parishes of Beauronne and Douzillac since time immemorial, but that the King's Seneschal and his men are now harassing them and preventing them from exercising this. They ask that this might stop, as they are ready to stand to right on this before him or any other competent judge.
Nature of endorsement
The Seneschal of Perigord is to be ordered that, when he has called the King's defender he is to do justice, and he is to be careful not to do wrong.
