Nature of request
Richard Tristrem, harper, states that he was in the King's service at Burton-upon-Trent, and that when he was going home afterwards, William de Folschawe and his company robbed him of his horse, his harp, and other goods and chattels. The horse has now come into the keeping of Thomas de Dunstaple, keeper of Belper, as abandoned property. He requests a remedy.
Nature of endorsement
Thomas is to be ordered to deliver the horse and the harp; and with regard to the other things, he is to sue a writ of trespass.
