Gerard de Seynt Michel asks for a writ to the Justiciar of Ireland to proceed in an assize of novel disseisin between him and Nichola, daughter of Richard de Seynt Michel, notwithstanding Nichola's minority, in recompense for the service he has done the King, and that he might be excused payment of the farm for the lands in question, which he holds pending the judgment, while they are in the King's hand, as they have been burnt and destroyed by Edward le Brus.
