A Latin summary of a petition which would appear to be this one is found on a roll of petitions from 1290 (Rot. Parl. vol. I, p. 47a (no.18)), although there are certain differences. From the use of beavertail 's', this petition cannot date from much later than 1290, even if it is not the one summarized in Rot. Parl. vol. I, p. 47a (no.18).
