Ingram Slumpart, otherwise called Ram Slumpart, esquire, born in Calais of a father from Picardy and a mother from Flanders, asks the King, in consideration of his service to him and his father in war and in the guard of Calais, that, with the advice and assent of his uncle, the other lords, and the commons of the present parliament, he and his heirs might become denizens; and that he might have the King's letters patent for this.
