Nature of request
Proviso exempting from the current act of resupmtion the grant of the office of crossbowman in the Tower of London made to Thomas Staunton, Usher of the King's Chamber, and to the late Robert Waleys, for term of life, and of 12d daily for this office from the issues of Warwickshire and Leicestershire.
Nature of endorsement
[Endorsement to SC 8/141/7014A]The lords spiritual and temporal have agreed this provision with the fees and wages of 12d daily, if this 12d was customary for the said office on the first day of the King's reign or before.
