Nature of request
William Say, esquire, formerly Usher of the Chamber, asks the King, by the advice and assent of the lords spiritual and temporal, to exempt from the act of resumption in the present parliament the office of warrener in Dover castle, granted to him by the King for his forty years' service to him and to his father.
Nature of endorsement
The King, by the advice etc. agreed this provision of the office with the fees and wages which have been due and customary for this office from ancient times.
