The petitioner states that while he was on the King's service in Scotland he killed one Oswald Fitz Conekare, of Dumfriesshire. He has made satisfaction to his relatives, and he asks the King to pardon his his suit, and grant him his charter of peace in Scotland.
Nature of endorsement
Coram rege.The Chancellor of Scotland is to be ordered that since it has been attested by J. de Segrave, guardian of those parts, that he has satisfied the relatives, he is to have the King's charter of peace.
