The Prior of Pentney requests assistance in his dispute with Blak and his colleagues, who have attacked his land at Ashwood and East Winch, assaulting his workers and stealing his goods. Some of the animals are now on the land of Danyell, who refuses to return them, and Blak and his fellows have threatened to burn down the abbey.
