- The people of Northumberland request that all rents, farms and other debts due to the king, respited until Easter next, continue to be respited until he receives the results of an enquiry into their ability to pay (a copy of the writ ordering this enquiry is attached). When this has reported, they ask that they then be pardoned these amounts due to their great poverty.
