Note (Additional information about the record)
- Custody of the lands of Robert de Newburgh was granted to Gorges on 17 March 1322, shortly after the end of the Lancaster rebellion. Presumably Elizabeth's petition dates to some point shortly after then, possibly even to the subsequent York parliament of that year. 'Perlegh' (or 'Parlegh') may be West Parley, but the petition states that both places are in Winfrith hundred, and no such places can be found in that hundred (West Parley is in Cranborne hundred).
