- Walter de Newynton requests the discharge of 20s demanded from him by the collectors of the 1334 fifteenth and tenth. He states that when he was taxer and collector in Worcestershire of the fifteenth and tenth granted in 1332, he himself was assessed at the Exchequer to pay 20s. Since the 1334 collectors were told by the king to charge the same as in the previous tax, they have now demanded this same 20s from him, even though he has already contributed along with the rest of the community.

- The tax for which Newynton was being charged was granted in September 1334, and payments were due in December 1334 and February 1335. Presumably the petition was presented in 1335 or shortly thereafter.
