Executors of James de Neubiri (Neubury, Newbury).

Nature of request
The executors of James de Neubury request that they may find mainprise regarding Neubury's debts to the King, that they may have administration of his goods, and that the King order the bailiffs of Southampton, Andover and Basingstoke to pay to them the remainder of the £500 previously granted to Neubury. The text of the original grant is recited, dated at Durham on 18 June 1300, along with draft orders to the bailiffs.
Nature of endorsement
The executors shall find security for the debts to the King, and do what they seek.And Robert de Segre, Nicholas Daleroun and Gilbert de Selebourne, executors, appeared before the council and named mainpernors [listed], and were granted administration of the goods of the deceased and writs should be sent to the bailiffs to pay the remaining money.
