Nature of request
Bernard le Moigne requests that the King honour the terms of a charter between him and Tyeys, whereby Moigne granted a tenement in Southampton to Tyeys in return for his sustenance for life. The tenement is now in the King's hands. A Latin copy of the charter, dated 30 December 1319, is included.
Nature of endorsement
Show the writing in Chancery, and let faithful men be appointed to enquire into the truth of the petition, and let this be returned and justice be done.
