Nature of request
The minister and brothers of the Trinitarian house of Moatenden request licence to purchase ten librates of land or rents in order to relieve their poverty, caused by the siege of Leeds Castle, difficult years and the murrain of their beasts.
Nature of endorsement
They should inform themselves as to the specific lands, and advise the king at the next parliament.Coram Rege.

Note
Clearly dates to the period following the siege of Leeds Castle in 1321. Dated on the guard to? c.1324, and it does bear similarities in style to SC 8/127/6343, which does date to that year.
