Roger de Mortimer requests remedy, stating that he complained to the king regarding wrongs done to him by the escheator in his manor of Marden, and was granted a writ to the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer on the matter, of which a copy is attached Although he has prosecuted this writ, nothing has been done.

Dated on the guard to c. 1305, with reference to Memoranda de Parliamento, no.12 (p.14). According to PROME, roll 12, appendix, no. 13, the Latin summary of the petition on the parliament roll (SC 9/12), which is printed in Memoranda de Parliamento, p.12, is an earlier connected petition.
