Nature of request
The Abbot and Convent of Meaux request that sums owed to them by the king for corn and other victuals for the war in Scotland be allowed against their taxation payments.
Nature of endorsement
Order the Treasurer and Barons of the Exchequer to view the letters patent and wardrobe bills mentioned in the petition, and inspect the sums owed by the petitioners, and issue letters accordingly to the effect of the petition.
