Nature of request
Reginald de Mountfort requests the restoration of the manor of Radstock, in the King's hands following the forfeiture of his brother, Henry. He states that he had granted the manor to Henry for life, but had re-entered the lands as the rent was in arrears, and held it peacefully until the manor was taken into the King's hands by Marlebergh and given to Aston, keeper of the forfeited lands.

Assign certain faithful men to enquire into the truth of the contents of this petition, and return an inquisition having viewed the muniments, and let it be done according to the law.
