- William Moton requests remedy for two issues.1) He states that the water from the water mill lately belonging to the Earl of Lancaster at Earl Shilton has flowed back into his meadow in neighbouring Peckleton, preventing him from making his hay and taking any profit, to his damage of 40s per year.2) He states that the Earl has assarted large areas of land in Desford, and also has taken five acres of his land in neighbouring Peckleton.
