Nature of request
Roger Mauditt, former keeper of Wark upon Tweed, asks that an order be sent to the Exchequer, ordering them to settle his account, offsetting any debts owed by him to the King against wardrobe bills owed to him from the time of the King's father. If he still owes sums to the King he will pay, and if he is owed sums then he asks for payment or assignments.
Nature of endorsement
Order the Treasurer, Barons and Chamberlains of the Exchequer to account with Roger, and if they find that he owes the King, view the bills and make allowance in the debt owed; and if the King owes him, make payment of the sum or let him have an assignment, receiving the bills and charges.
