- Robert de Midelton states that he received a grant from the King of a corrody in the priory of Chirbury, but when he presented his mandate to the Prior, the Prior refused to receive him, and instead attacked and assaulted him. He therefore requests that the Prior be summoned to answer before the King.

- The writ at SC 8/126/6272 was clearly issued in response to this petition, suggesting that it was presented to the January parliament of 1393. However, the style of the handwriting, and the lack of any endorsement, would indicate that this is almost certainly a copy, produced in Chancery and attached to the writ prior to its delivery to the commissioners.
