Nature of request
Agnes, widow of William Marmyon, requests that the manors of Galby and Cold Newton be restored to her. She states that she held the manors by virtue of an enfeoffment with her husband from Airmyn and Palmer, but following her husband's death, John Marmyon and others came with an armed band and unlawfully took possession.
Nature of endorsement
Let this petition be sent to the Chancery, and the chancellor shall summon the parties, and examine the matter and the reasons and allegations of both parties, and with the authority of Parliament he will do as reason and right demands.
