Date
[1421]
Description
Petitioners
John Mortymer (Mortimer), knight.
Name(s)
Mortymer (Mortimer), John
Addressees
Commons in Parliament.
Places mentioned
London
Note
Assigned in Rot. Parl. Vol. IV, p.160 to the parliament of May 1421, and bears the same numbering at the foot as other petitions assigned to this parliament. Ormond's mainprise was made in February 1420, and the orders for him to be transferred to Pevensey were made on 27 May 1422. Guard notes suggest this was the same man who petitioned for a commission of oyer et terminer in 1414 (SC 8/125/6240), but this is uncertain.
