- The merchants of the realm, aliens and denizens, request the repeal of an ordinance made in the last parliament, ordering that each merchant taking wool or wool fells out of the realm be obliged to bring 12d of gold or silver to the Tower of London, to increase the bullion stocks. They say this is impossible, as other nations refuse to allow such bullion out of their country.

- As noted on the guard, this petition would appear to be in response to the ordinance on this matter passed at the Easter parliament of 1379, and hence was presumably presented to the January Parliament of 1380.
